I have learned from reading my Nami group counterpart's insights, experiences, and links to resources. Shout out to F&F! One such resource pointed me to an article about tantrums; which apparently I am not the only one who still has them from time to time (that's my story, I'm stickin to it, and you can't prove a thing!) Link: Tantrums! So, not only does the link go through a slideshow of how to calm the hell down mid afternoon and other triggering times (for kids mind you) but it goes into why moving around releases tension. Thus my plan to get a YMCA membership is a good idea, just for the use of their pool because swimming is the one form of exercise I honestly enjoy and can commit to.

Miracles~
I am going to parallel the start of my awesome new Passion Planner with the restart of a blog on which I am free to ramble endlessly, brainstorm with onlookers, jot poems or stories if I am so moved to, or simply check-in from time to time in a semi-public format.
Anyone seeking a religious/preachy blog please leave now, as you will likely become offended sooner rather than later because of my array of subject matter I tend to contemplate. Anyhoo, consider yourself warned.
I love watching non-believers witness miracles that only can be attributed to God! My aunt is admittedly in poor health; but was most recently diagnosed with COPD and was found by her son barely breathing and going in and out of consciousness. She was put on a respirator once she got to the hospital's ICU because she couldn't breathe by herself. She was completely unresponsive as well; which scared the heck out of my cousins (her son and daughter) and rightly so, as it was a serious situation touch and go. I decided not to go up to the hospital last night, as she wasn't responding whatsoever, and I thought I'd be better utilized solo meditation at home and corporate prayer as usual in the morning at church. My Pastor P bound that thing back to the pit and we claimed health in Jesus' name before we closed out our session and I raced over to see the manifestation I knew would come! I am in no way trying to take credit (all glory and credit goes to God who hears prayers); but for the first time since being admitted, I walked into the room and she opened her eyes. Praise be to God! The utter shock on the face of one family member was priceless, because there was no way he could deny God was in our midst at that moment. Ha! Pure entertainment for me.
I have just become trained by NAMI(National Alliance of Mental Illness) to be a facilitator of a Nami Connections Peer Support Group in Minneapolis on Fridays, starting yesterday; which went quite well if I don't say so myself. I co-facilitate with a great gal who has a wonderful disposition and sense of humor -so we tag-team very well together. I am excited to see how things evolve as we move forward in running one special group of "normal crazies" and "queer peers".
The last thing I'm up to tonight before settling in with a movie to fall asleep to, is completing the first wishlist section of my Passion Planner brainstorming exercise of my future. I am back in full swing lofty dream mode and it feels fantastic and timely to start getting things out on paper, visualizing and reflecting on a regular basis, so I no longer have to wonder where days, weeks, or months have gone! I call ceasefire on stagnant time!
That's all for now...
Cheers~
